Year 10 Outdoor Ed Camp

As we prepared for our Outdoor Education camp down peninsula way to head across the two bays trails, wild weather meant we had to pivot and adapt the plan. We adapted the plan to travel along the bay trail from Blairgowrie up to Mount Martha on the Thursday of the camp. This meant it was a long distance to travel and the students did amazing, travelling 26km across the day to our evening destination. Being able to look out from the top of Mount Martha to see in the distance where we started was an amazing experience.
On Friday, we travelled another 5km by foot to enjoy some time on some Stand Up Paddle Boards. All students overcame challenges throughout the camp and showed a great level of resilience, understanding they can accomplish more than they realise through teamwork and encouragement.
