Dear Parents and Carers,

St Joey’s Got Talent

What an entertaining afternoon we had last Thursday as our students displayed their music, singing, dance, and unique talents for our school community. Special thanks to our wonderful music teacher Miss Caterer for preparing each class to showcase a wide range of music skills the students have acquired during the year.

Congratulations to the individual students who entered our talent competition. The winners for 2025 were:

Ist Place - Dougie performed a Piano Recital ‘William Tell Overture’ and the dance trio Chani, Millie & Arli danced to ‘Mystical Magical’.

2nd Place- Cruze sang ‘Holy Water’ and Elvira danced a traditional Fijian dance to ‘Ruade’.

3rd Place- Oliver showed how fast he could successfully complete various rubic cubes.

Highly Commended- Zarabelle, Phoebe & Macie danced in unison to ‘Takedown’.

Emailing Teachers

Just a reminder that while I encourage you to email teachers with questions or to set up a meeting, I ask that you do this between 8.30am - 5.00pm. If you write an email at night please schedule it to be sent the next morning. Please also allow time for the teacher to respond remembering that during the school day they are teaching and often on duty.
