Buddy program at OLA

Our Preps and their senior buddies often come together to participate in an activity or a Buddy Lunch It’s moments like these that remind us that the OLA school community is like a big happy family.

Celebration of learning at OLA.

The 3/4 students have been creating their own narratives inspired by a picture prompt. They were all genuinely excited to share their stories with each other and displayed a great sense of pride in their pieces. We celebrate achievements at OLA every day in the classroom. Outstanding achievement is celebrated at every assembly in the front of the school. Congratulations to all the students who received an award last week. 

Our clever Preps have been working on their mental maths strategies for partitioning (break up). They used unfix blocks to build their numbers on a tens frame as many different ways as they could.
