Updates on the P&F for 2024

We are very pleased to announce a new look P&F Executive for next year. Lauren Koukoumanos will be stepping up from the Secretary role to Co-Chair the P&F in 2024. Claudelle Salter will also be stepping up from special projects as the other Co-Chair for 2024.

Assisting Claudelle and Lauren will be Eli Dunlevie as Secretary and Ben Gray as Treasurer. A big thank you to Claudelle, Lauren, Eli and Ben for being superstars and for putting your hand up to steer this great team though 2024, I wish you every success.

We have some positions available on the Team, if you are interested in volunteering and making a difference in your child's school we would love to hear from you.

Colour Run

What a fantastic day and a great effort from all the children raising money for their school. We have raised over $19,000 to be contributed to the wishlist items listed below. Thank you again to everyone that contributed to this amazing event.

The Colour Run Prizes are scheduled to arrive in the next two to three weeks and will be distributed at school by school staff and the P&F Team. We will also be able to celebrate the child and the class who raised the most.

Grade 6 Graduation - Dec 14

We have the Grade 6 graduation coming up on Thursday December 14. It’s wonderful to see that all the grade 6 families have rsvp’d to attend, we look forward to making the day extra special for you. 

Thank you to Kara Bogicevic and the Grade 5 families for hosting the event. We have a lovely tradition here at OLA that the Grade 5 families host the Grade 6 families for their graduation. A tradition we are delighted to be continuing this year.

Funding Outcomes for 2023

This year, the P&F team with your support have raised funds for the following school wish list items. We are very excited to announce that all fundraising goals have been achieved:

• Wishlist Item 1: Football nets to return our active kids' footballs and prevent them going into the gardens of our neighbours at lunchtime. Achieved!

• Wishlist Item 2 - A 65 inch SMART board to support learning in our new library. Achieved!

• Wishlist Item 3 - A set of Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags for our hall to recognise and honour our indigenous history. Achieved!

• Wishlist Item 4 - New drink taps in two locations, to replace the existing bubblers and  a new location beside the outdoor stage. Achieved! (They arrived on Wednesday)

• Stretch Wishlist Item 5 - Upgrade to the school entrance landscape to include shaded seating under the trees. Achieved! (project to be delivered in 2024

An enormous thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, expertise and funds to every P&F event, stall, raffle, shop, bookclub, etc. We could not have done this without the support of the fabulous OLA community.
