Book Character Parade

What a wonderful sight it was to see nearly every student and staff member dressed up for our Book Character Parade! The creativity and effort from our families were truly outstanding, making the day such a joyful celebration of reading.

Prizes were awarded in three fun categories: Most Interesting Character, Most Creative Costume, and Most Enthusiastic Participant. Congratulations to all our winners—and well done to everyone who joined in the fun!

Book Fair Success

Our Book Fair was a fantastic success, with sales reaching an impressive $3,400! This means the school has earned $845 in commission, which will go directly towards purchasing new decodable reading books and texts for our students.

A huge thank you to all the parents who generously gave their time to help run the Book Fair—we couldn’t have done it without you. Your support made this event such a success for our school community.

Visiting Author/Illustrator - Mark Wilson

Our students were thrilled to welcome author and illustrator Mark Wilson to school! From the moment he began, the children were captivated. They loved hearing his stories, asking questions, and taking part in his engaging drawing workshop. The session had the perfect balance of listening and hands-on fun, and the students came away inspired and eager to create. He generously signed students’ copies of his books before he left. What a wonderful experience for everyone involved—thank you, Mark!
