Year 10 Students Shine at the Dinninup Show

Our Year 10 students headed to the Dinninup Show on Tuesday to put their judging skills to the test in sheep, beef and grain judging competitions. After plenty of practice and preparation, it was fantastic to see their hard work rewarded with excellent results.

Congratulations to;

  • Bradley Wilson, who placed 1st in Meat Sheep Judging.
  • Devon Larkworthy-Darke, who achieved 2nd in Meat Sheep Judging and 1st in Cattle Judging.
  • Jorja Watson, who placed 2nd and Harry Treasure, who placed 3rd in Merino Sheep Judging.
  • Logan Panizza, who placed 1st and Saxon Knox, who achieved 2nd in Grain Judging.

A special mention must go to Devon Larkworthy-Darke, who also entered the Junior Paraders competition while showing for Venturon Livestock (Harris Thompson). Devon impressed the judges and took home the win. A fantastic achievement and a credit to his handling skills.

There was plenty happening throughout the day, giving students a great opportunity to have a go, and experience everything a small country agricultural show has to offer.

A huge well done to all students who participated and represented the College so well. Thank you also to our staff for the time and effort they put into preparing students for the competition.
