Harmony Day Celebrations

Harmony Day will be celebrated on Friday, March 22.

 

Join us to celebrate our cultural diversity and friendship with one another.

 

Community Assembly – 8:45 am - 9:45 am

 

All are welcome

 

All students and staff will be asked to dress in their traditional cultural clothing, or orange or green and gold for Australia. Sporting clothes will be allowed. Check with your classroom teacher about the guidelines for this.  It is not a free dress day.   

 

Parents and grandparents, you are encouraged to get dressed up too if you wish. Make sure that we take your photo with your children.

 

Save the Date – Friday, May 3, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

We need volunteers to help make this a fantastic P&C event.

 

Volunteers needed for:

  • The canteen and sausage sizzle
  • At the gates to collect gold coin donations
  • Run cultural stalls all cultures welcome to submit ideas)
  • Henna hand painting
  • Name writing in different scripts – eg, Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, Korean
  • Bubble blowing 
  • Bollywood dancing
  • Set up  team from 1:30 pm 
  •  Pack up team from 7:30 pm – 8:15 pm
