  • Year 5/6 Classroom teacher / Learning Specialist.

What is your favourite sport to watch or play?

  • AFL or local basketball.

What is your favourite holiday destination?

  • Northern Territory. 

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

  • Something by Mitchell Tenpenny.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

  • Watching the students strive and grow throughout their school career.

What is your role at Seymour College?

  • I currently teach Senior English, but have also taught Humanities in the past. I have a position of responsibility in Disability Inclusion. I am also currently studying my Masters of Specialist Inclusive Education through Deakin University thanks to a scholarship from the Department of Education.

What is your favourite sport to watch or play?

  • I'm not much of a sports viewing fan but if I had to pick a favourite it would be soccer!

What is your favourite holiday destination?

  • Overseas I loved visiting Japan in 2016. In Australia Mt Gambier was my favourite holiday so far. 

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

  • Anything Yellowcard or Chapple Roan (doubt I could hit her notes!)

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

  • Being able to work towards supporting students with disabilities and seeing what a difference it makes to their education journey is my favourite part of my job here at Seymour College.

  • I am a special ED teacher teaching year 7 & 8 in the SM classroom.

  • Swimming (to participate) and AFL football (to watch). 

What is your favourite holiday destination?

  • Thailand. 

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

  • Dire Straits Brothers in Arms.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

  • The most rewarding aspect of my role is engaging students in practical learning experiences and witnessing their growth, increased self-confidence, and the genuine satisfaction they gain from their achievements.

  • Paradise by the dashboard light by Meatloaf.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

  • It is meeting the most amazing families and being part of their journey. I love seeing the little milestones our Defence students reach — those small moments of growth, confidence, and connection that mean so much. Watching them flourish and knowing I’ve played even a tiny role in their story truly makes my heart full.
