Year 10 Food Technology

Our Year 10s are taking on the challenge of picking 4 or 5 mystery ingredients and turning them into these fabulous creations in Food Technology. A slight spin off, of the show Ready, Steady, Cook. They are demonstrating their skills in the Food Technology kitchen and have embraced the challenge and produced some tasty dishes.

Year 10 Training Interviews

This term Year 10’s have spent time working on building their resumes and preparing for their training interviews. Students have been given the opportunity to gain experience in preparing for and participating in a ‘real’ job interview situation. The aim of this learning is to improve students’ employment application and interviewing skills. A big thank you to Seymour Rotary Club and CRLLEN who assisted with the training interviews on Tuesday 28th October. It was such a valuable learning experience for our students.

Secondary Assessment & Reporting Update

With Semester Reports coming up, it’s important to remember that you can track your child’s progress at any time. Teachers upload results and feedback to Compass as the learning tasks are completed, giving you real-time insight into their learning. Regularly checking Compass helps students stay on track and gives you the opportunity to support learning long before Semester reports are released.
