The library is open again and there are plenty of new books available to borrow. Whether you’re after a great read, a quiet place to reset, or somewhere to spend time with friends, the space is open, welcoming, and yours to use.

At Lara Secondary College, students can access our eReading library, which provides 24/7 access to library books.

 eReading is ideal for reading on iPads / tablets / phones.

Download the Sora app. Set up an account using your Compass login. Select Lara Secondary College as your library and you are ready to borrow.

Requesting books for the Library 

Do you have a book you’d like to read?  Come into the library to see if we have it.  If we don’t, let us know and we can investigate buying the book.  If the book is available on SORA it can be in our ebook library within 24 hours.  This book can be read via the SORA app.
