Trivia Night Wrap - What a night!

Our wonderful ES Team in all their glory at the 2025 Trivia Night.

Our 2025 Trivia Night was a testament to our wonderful, connected school community. There were many laughs, lots of heated competition and our winning table --- for the third year running --- were very pleased with themselves, rightfully so!

We are simply thrilled to announce that our event raised just over $15,000!

These funds will be put towards the purchase of new shelving, furniture and resources in our Library space, for our whole school to enjoy.

We anticipate the new and improved Library space will be completed in Term 4, once the current building repairs have been completed in our Prep and Junior rooms and classes are operating from their own spaces once again.

TAC’s Safe Migration Project

The TAC’s Safe Migration Project is designed to give parents and carers practical tips to help their children travel safely to and from primary school.

They have developed a range of new resources, including engaging content and simple, easy-to-follow advice to help parents and carers establish safe travel habits with their children from day one.

Whole School Concert 2025 - NEW VENUE!

Our Annual Concert is happening next Term, on Tues 21st Oct.

Please note: The following day is the Geelong Cup Public Holiday (22nd Oct), there is no school for students on this day as the school will be closed. A great 'rest day' for our younger students.

Classes have commenced practicing their concert items and the excitement amongst students is building!

This year our concert venue will be the Geelong Arts Centre. Our production will take place in The Play House theatre.

Tickets will be on sale early next term.

Nude Food Fridays

Fridays have been nominated as Nude Food days at Newtown PS. We encourage families to pack rubbish free lunches each Friday for their children. Our SRC will visit a selection of classes each week, awarding house points to students who have nude food lunches on these days.
