Welcome back to Term 4. I hope you have had some time to rest and relax over the term break.

First Feast Day of St Carlos Acutis - 12th October

We celebrated the first ever feast day of St Carlo Acutis on Sunday the 12th October. St Carlos shows us that when we put our faith into action with service and prayer, great things can be accomplished.

I was privileged to visit St Carlos Acutis in Assisi as part of our Diocesan Pilgrimage. It was an incredibly moving and faith filled experience to join other pilgrims to pray at his body.

Bishop Peter Murphy has commissioned an exhibition which will travel across our Diocese over the coming year. The exhibition was launched on the weekend in Armidale, and students from St Mary's Armidale were fortunate to experience the exhibition this morning 

HSC - Good Luck

I wish all our students doing their HSC exams the best of luck. Our prayers are with as you complete this final stage of your schooling. Thank you to the staff who supported you throughout this time especially HSC teachers.

Diocesan Pilgrimage - Rome and Assisi

I had the most amazing time on Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi during this jubilee year as a ‘Pilgrim of Hope’. I joined a group from the Diocese of Armidale with parishioners and principals led so beautifully by Fr Damien and Br Allem. Some of my highlights include passing through the 4 Holy Doors in Rome, Mass in the Irish Chapel in St Peter’s Basilica, Wednesday audience of Pope Leo, St John Baptist De La Salle Chapel and all of Assisi! I return full of faith, hope and joy. I am so thankful to have had this experience.
