Harmony Day 2026

Harmony Day is celebrated in Australia on March 21 each year. It is a special day to recognise and celebrate the many cultures that make up Australia. It is also a time to acknowledge and pay respect to the original inhabitants of the land, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At our school, we are proud to have so many students from diverse cultural backgrounds including Vietnam, China, Iraq, Fiji, Afghanistan, Pacific Islands, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Italy, just to name a few! With over 95% of our students coming from a language background other than English, our school is a truly diverse, inclusive and supportive community. To celebrate Harmony Day, students wore their cultural clothing or wore orange to show their support for diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
