Principal's Report

Mrs D. Donatiello

Dear Students and Families,

As we come to the close of Term 1, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible achievements and progress our school community has made over the past ten weeks. It has been a term filled with learning, growth, and many memorable moments.

I am truly proud of our students for their dedication, enthusiasm, and resilience. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, or during extracurricular activities, our students have shown remarkable commitment and positivity. All of our students have personalised learning goals which were co-developed in consultation with students, teachers and their family.

Some of the term highlights included:

  • celebration of culture through the Lunar New Year celebration and our Harmony Day

  • opportunities for sport through Gala Days, weekly school sport, Swimming and Cross-Country Carnivals

  • performing arts opportunities with our choir performing as part of the massed choir at Pulse Alive

  • student leadership development with school captains participating in the Cowpasture Leadership Day and the captains and SRC representatives attending the Halogen Leader's Day.

I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to our staff for their hard work and passion in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Their efforts ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive. Our staff are dedicated to engaging students both in the classroom and at lunchtimes by providing a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.

To our parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement is vital to the success of our school community. Our 2026 P&C have begun their fundraising efforts with an Easter Raffle which will be drawn on Thursday 2 April, after the Easter Hat Parade.

As we look forward to Term 2, I encourage all students to continue embracing challenges, to be curious, and to support one another. Together, we will continue to build a positive and inspiring school culture.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing holiday break. I look forward to seeing all our students return refreshed and ready for another great term on Wednesday 22 April.

Warm regards,

Mrs Dianne Donatiello
