A Professional Musical Production In Sydney

On Wednesday 15th May, 47 Creative Arts students braved a 5:30 am start and travelled to Sydney to see the professional musical production of '& Juliet' at the Lyric Theatre. This jukebox musical features a variety of pop songs, including those by Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and Katy Perry, reimagined to tell the story of what might happen if Juliet didn't die in the famous Shakespeare work 'Romeo and Juliet'. The viewing of professional musical productions supplements the curriculum studied in both music and drama across stages 5 and 6. The students were also treated to a Q and A session at the end of the show, with the lead cast members offering invaluable advice on a career in musical theatre, including how to combat nerves and audition processes.

The students were an exceptional representation of the College.
