The Adventures of Frankie & Ash

Well what an adventure we had on the school holidays!

First we had Easter - what a disappointment that was.   Apparently chocolate is "bad for dogs".   But after Easter we got to go on a long trip in Car to a big Lake with Mum and Dad and their friends.   On the way we stopped at a place called Motel.  We were very good girls and stayed in the room while Mum and Dad went for dinner and then we got to go to Pub which was full of really nice people who gave us some Treats.

The Big Adventure came when we all went to bed and I needed to go for a wee in the middle of the night.   Mum took me out for a wee and let me back in.  Ash didn't need wee, but Mum took her out anyway.   I thought, if Ash isn't doing wee, what is she doing out there?  Are there possums?  Is there Treat?  So when Mum let Ash back in I sneaked out the door to find out what Ash had been doing.   Mum didn't see me because it was very very dark and she just went back to bed.

At first Outside was fun.   It was very dark but I could see and there were so many good smells to sniff.   I could smell animals and people and flowers and plants and I had a good sniff at all the motel doors.  I sniffed so hard I ran out of smell, and I couldn't find which door belonged to Mum and Dad and Ash.  So then the Outside was a bit big and a bit scary so I started to call for help.   I called so loud that eventually Mum opened the door and let me back in.  

I was a bit shaky so I was allowed to sleep on the Big Bed for the rest of the night and Mum and Dad made a big fuss of me.  

Ash did not care and she got to sleep on the Big Bed too even though she did not have a Big Adventure.  I don't think that's fair.

Anyway the rest of the holiday was lots of fun with big swims in Lake, walks, visits to Pub and lots of treat and fun with Mum and Dad's friends.
