Concerning Behaviour

I rarely feel compelled to speak out to parents regarding behaviour of our students in the community, but I received some concerning information from Eltham Police this week.  I am writing this in the hope that the parent/s of these young people recognise their child from the information given, and are able to intervene to prevent them participating in further criminal behaviour that can ultimately end with them being part of the youth justice system, an outcome no one wants.

This was received in regard to an incident in Main Road Eltham at approximately 6.00 pm on Tuesday 23rd April:

"We identified four students in St Helena school uniforms that were smashing glass out the front of stores and let off a fire extinguisher. The students spoke with police and the students identified themselves as

Samuel BOREMAN

Ivy FREEMAN

Jacob ROSBROOK

Lea Clark"

These students have clearly given false names to police.

If your child was in Main Road Eltham on Tuesday night at about 6pm with three others, and you feel they may have been involved, please have a discussion with them.
