Grade 5/6

Welcome back Grade 5/6 students, families and friends!

The Grade 5/6 students have settled into their new classroom, setting expectations, practising routines and learning about being positive role models and leaders in our school.

And, we have already begun learning! In Mathematics, students have collected data and made graphs, and in English and Humanities they have been learning about Australia Day, including Indigenous perspectives.

We have a few students who haven't had their hats at school this week, so a friendly reminder to carers to please ensure your student has a hat at school.

Grade 5/6 will be having PE on Tuesdays this term, so please have students wear appropriate footwear on this day so they can participate comfortably.

Well done to students for having such a positive start to the year and I look forward to seeing you all!
