The Travel Gap
Looking for a different way to start life after school? The Travel Gap offers young people the opportunity to gain real industry experience, explore new environments and develop practical skills before deciding what comes next.
The program may suit students finishing Year 12 in 2026 or recent graduates who are interested in travel, new experiences and taking on new challenges.
CA Fundamentals Program
Applications close on Sunday, 20 September.
Student applications are about to close for the CA Fundamentals Program, which forms part of BDO’s High School Leavers Program 2027 intake.
This program provides an excellent pathway for aspiring accounting professionals to build foundational knowledge and develop the skills required to begin their journey toward becoming a Chartered Accountant.
BDO provides high school leavers with a full-time, permanent position, and provides learning on the job, as well as fully funded support to complete the CA qualification.

Course For Bachelor of Osteopathy
Edith Cowan University is the first and only university in Western Australia to offer a degree in osteopathy. The new Bachelor of Osteopathy Honours has been developed in close consultation with Osteopathy Australia, to prepare students for Ahpra registration as an Osteopath. The course will welcome its first cohort of students in Semester 1, 2027.
Students enrolled in ECU's four-year degree will undertake at least 500 hours of clinical placement, gaining real-world experience with a range of healthcare providers. ATAR Revision & Exam Preparation
Mastermind Australia is offering ATAR revision and exam preparation classes for WA students during the Term 3 school holidays. With final school and ATAR exams approaching after the October holidays, these sessions provide students with an opportunity to revise key content, build confidence and prepare for their upcoming exams.
Travel and Tourism Career
Students interested in travel and tourism can join a free online career information session exploring the wide range of opportunities available across the industry.
The session will cover career pathways, industry roles, qualifications and entry options after school, as well as how students’ interests and strengths can help guide their career choices. Students will also be introduced to My Travel Career and tools such as DISC assessments to help identify areas they may enjoy.
