Junior School Update

Kinder Discovery Days 

It was wonderful to welcome young learners from Eilleen Taylor Kindergarten and Trikki Kidz Early Learning Group (Cobram and Barooga) to Cobram AGS for our Kinder Discovery Days.

Our young visitors had the opportunity to spend time exploring our school, meeting some of our staff and students, and joining in a range of fun and engaging activities designed to give them a taste of what life as a Foundation student is all about. The visits provided a great opportunity for the children to become familiar with a school environment, explore new spaces and experience some of the learning and activities they can look forward to when they begin their own school journey next year.

A big thank you to the educators from Eilleen Taylor Kindergarten and Trikki Kidz Early Learning Group for helping us coordinate these two days, and to our Junior School staff and student helpers for making these visits so enjoyable for the children! We loved having our young visitors on campus and hope to see some of those smiling faces back at Cobram AGS in the future!

Year 5/6 Tri-Games 

Our Year 5/6 students recently took on St Joseph’s Primary School in the latest round of the Year 5/6 Tri-Games competition, competing across netball and soccer. Our students were highly competitive throughout the day, putting their developing skills, and teamwork into action across both sports.

While there were plenty of great performances on the court and field, it was particularly pleasing to see the sportsmanship displayed by our students. They encouraged their teammates, showed respect towards their opponents and represented Cobram AGS with pride.

Most importantly, students embraced the opportunity to compete, connect with students from another local school and enjoy a fun day of sport.! Well done to everyone who participated, and thank you to St Joseph’s for another enjoyable round of competition!
