Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

I trust this edition of ‘What’s On’ finds you well.

It has been another very busy fortnight at Cobram Anglican Grammar School, highlighted by a number of wonderful community events and important school initiatives.

Father's Day Breakfast 

On Friday 4 September, approximately 200 people attended our Father's Day Breakfast, making it a fantastic celebration of the important role fathers, grandfathers and significant others play in the lives of our students. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to enjoy the morning and strengthen the connections that make our school community so special.

Book Week

Following the breakfast, our much-anticipated Book Week Parade provided a magnificent celebration of literature, imagination and creativity. Students across the school showcased an incredible array of costumes, with many putting a tremendous amount of effort into bringing their favourite characters to life. The atmosphere was vibrant and joyful, and it was particularly pleasing to see so many parents remain after the breakfast to be part of the festivities and share in the excitement of the event.

AngliSchools Principals visit Cobram AGS

On Wednesday 2 September, we were pleased to host fellow leaders from across the AngliSchools network for our AngliSchools Principals' Meeting. The opportunity to welcome principals to Cobram AGS provided a valuable chance to share ideas, discuss educational priorities and showcase the outstanding learning environment and strong sense of community that exists within our school.

Strategic Planning

This week also saw School Council members engage in further Strategic Planning discussions as we continue to shape the future direction of Cobram AGS. These conversations are an important part of ensuring that we remain focused on delivering the very best educational opportunities and outcomes for our students in the years ahead.

Australian Education Support Staff Appreciation Week

Finally, we proudly acknowledged Australian Education Support Staff Appreciation Week. Our Education Support staff play an invaluable role in every aspect of school life, providing care, expertise and support that enrich the learning and wellbeing of our students each and every day. We thank them sincerely for their contribution to our school community and for the difference they make through their commitment and service.
