Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Prayer
Loving God,
On this Feast of Mary’s birth,
we thank You for the gift of her life and the hope she brings to the world.
May her example of faith, humility, and courage
inspire our families and school community.
Help us to welcome others with kindness and to say 'Yes' to Your call,
just as Mary did.
Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
Amen.
The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
On Tuesday, 8 September, the Church celebrates one of the oldest Marian feast days. It honours the birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus, whose life and 'Yes' to God shaped the whole story of salvation for Christians.
Although the Gospels do not record her birth, early Christian tradition speaks of her parents, Saint Anne and Saint Joachim, and the joy surrounding Mary’s arrival into the world.
At Mass on Tuesday morning, Fr Hien reminded us of the importance of remembering our own birth day. The day that the world was forever changed by each of us arriving here to live lives of love, compassion and gratitude.
Youth Mass
All students are welcome to join us for Youth Mass to be held at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Chatswood, this Sunday 13 September commencing at 5:30 pm.

Sacrament of Baptism at St Michael's, Lane Cove
For students, aged from 7 to 13 years, enrolments for the sacrament of Baptism 2026 are now open at St Michael’s Catholic Church at Lane Cove.
Enrolments need to be in by Monday 12 October
