Year 7 and 8 Pathways through Athlete Development Excursion

The Athlete Development Pathways students went to MCG and Sports Museum. Students were able to have a tour of the musuem and a guest speaker to help the students understand how the Olympics has impacted their lives. The Year 7's heard from Peter Byrne, an Australian Basketballer in the early 70's. Carrie Smith, a 2016 Rio Olympian for sailing (who also met Usaine Bolt!) spoke to the Year 8's. All of the staff and students were able to learn something from these activities, and as always, our students behaved impeccably.
