LNPS Soccer

U11

The LNPS Under 11 soccer team gave it their all in a hard-fought Denis Price Cup semi-final against a strong Whitefriars side. Although the final scoreboard didn't go their way, the team showed great resilience. Every player kept their head high, demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship and positive attitudes. While not progressing in the cup is tough, the team can be immensely proud of their heart, teamwork, and brilliant effort throughout the tournament and the rest of the season.

District Athletics Day

On 19 August 2026, 37 Lockleys North Primary School students proudly competed at the District Athletics Day at the Mile End Athletics Centre. Our team fielded athletes in every event, creating a strong Lockleys North presence across the full track-and-field program.

Every student represented the school superbly. Their determination, encouragement and respectful behaviour reflected our school values, while their excellent sportsmanship was noticed by parents and spectators throughout the day. Students cheered for teammates, embraced challenges and displayed pride in representing their school community.

There were many outstanding performances. Quinn N won the discus and 100 m, then placed third in the 200 m. Nathanael S came first in the 800 m and second in both the 100 m and 200 m, an impressive achievement across sprint and middle-distance events.

The girls’ four-by-100-metre relay team of Quinn N, Emily P, Leila L and Chloe W finished second after a terrific team effort. Congratulations also go to Sönke L, George B, Bradley T, Chloe W, Hayden B and Amaya C for making the sprint finals.

District Athletics Day was a valuable opportunity for students to develop confidence, resilience and teamwork. Thank you to all parent helpers who supervised students and assisted with managing events. Your support helped make the day safe, well organised and enjoyable for everyone. We are incredibly proud of every athlete and their contribution to a memorable day. The school community celebrates the commitment shown by competitors, staff, volunteers and families, and looks forward to future sporting opportunities with pride.
