Junior School Council

Our Grade 3, 4 and 5 Junior School Council representatives for 2026 would like to formally introduce themselves to the school community so that everyone can get to know who they are and what they stand for. They are excited to take on their leadership roles and are looking forward to working together to improve our school so that everyone can feel happy coming to school every day and enjoy a positive learning environment.

Deandre So'oula (3A)

Hi, my name is Deandre and I am in grade 3A. I am more than happy to be your Junior School Councillor for 2026. I would like to help improve student behaviour to make Mackellar a more respectful and better place for everyone. I am excited about being a leader this year and improving my confidence and skills.

Hi, my name is Lucian from 3B. I am very grateful to have been selected by my peers to be a Junior School Councillor for 2026. I love listening to other students’ ideas, and I am excited to help create fun school events based on their suggestions. Hi, my name is Elias and I am from Grade 4A. I am extremely happy to be your Junior School Councillor for 2026. I want to help make our school more enjoyable for everyone by organising new events and clubs. I am also a great person to talk to if you have ideas or need help with anything.

Inaya Syeda (4B)

Hi, I’m Inaya from 4B. I am really excited to be your Junior School Councillor for 2026. I will try my best to make our school as fun and enjoyable as possible by creating fun events and activities for everyone to celebrate. I am glad I can help our school, and I love helping others. It is an honour to be able to support students and listen to their suggestions. I will always consider your ideas and let you know if they are possible.

Emma Le (5A)

Hello students, staff and parents. My name is Emma and I am from 5A. I am a 2026 Junior School Council representative, and I am very excited and enthusiastic to take on this important role. I am so grateful to have been chosen by my peers and teachers and I will do my very best to have a positive impact on our school community. I strongly believe that everyone’s voice matters, and I will listen to all ideas and try to include them where possible. I am always available to help anyone who needs support. Hi, my name is Kailey and I’m from 5B. I am one of the JSC representatives for 2026, and I am incredibly grateful to have been selected for this important leadership role. My goal is to help students of all year levels feel happier about coming to school, and I am looking forward to organising a variety of events throughout the year for students to enjoy. I am always open to hearing new ideas from students. I will work hard to be the best leader I can be.
