Solomon Islands Mission | Fundraising Day!
Get ready to bring the island vibes to school! We are hosting a special Solomon Islands Dress-Up Day on Thursday 14 May, to support our 2026 Mission Team as they prepare to serve the Betivatu community.
All funds raised will go directly toward running children's programs and supporting our student team.
WHEN: Thursday, 14 May
THEME: Island Style! Wear your best island-themed outfit or rock the colours of the Solomon Islands flag (Green, Yellow, blue and white)!
HOW TO SUPPORT THE MISSION:
$2 Mufti Donation per student: Dress up and join the fun!
$5 Mufti+Ice Cream Donation per student: Dress up PLUS enjoy a Bulla Split or a Bulla Icy Pole at lunchtime! For example If you have three students wanting an Ice Cream, please make a minimum donation of $15. Please include your name as the booking name, we will match the students to your donation.
WHY IT MATTERS: Your donation help us:
- Run fun and engaging children's programs.
- Purchase supplies to leave behind for the community.
- Help cover essential team costs.

Tropical Trivia Night 🌴 23 May
Dust off your Hawaiian shirts and grab your thinking caps!
Join us for an epic night of fun, facts, and island vibes. We’re inviting all Parents, Carers, and Secondary Students to team up for a great cause. Not only will it be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families in our NCS community but every dollar raised will go to supporting our Solomon Islands Mission Team.

- Gather your crew: Book a full table for your squad (10 people) OR
- Fly solo: Booking individually? No worries! We’ll find a legendary table for you to join.
- Dress to impress: Want a head start? Earn bonus points for your table by coming dressed in your best Tropical Island theme!
🍹 Food and Drink
Feel free to BYO snacks (not alcohol) to keep your brain fuelled, or save the prep and purchase delicious treats on the night. Please note this is an alcohol free event!

Community Prayer Breakfast - 14 May
Join us at our NCS Community Prayer Breakfast on Thursday 14 May at 7am. The purpose of this breakfast is to thank God for his many blessings and to bring before him our requests for both our school and wider community.
All members of our school community are welcome to attend the breakfast. We understand that some people will feel more comfortable listening to others pray rather than praying themselves and for this reason there is no expectation that everyone will pray.
Childminding
The school will be providing supervised activities for students who attend with their parents. Secondary students are encouraged to participate in the prayer breakfast if they would like to.

A light breakfast will be provided for all parents and students who attend.
