Senior Secondary (VPC/ASDAN)

Week 4 already and students in ASDAN continue to focus on their learning about Planning and Organising both in school and in the Community.

For Travel Training, 11/12C went to Parks Victoria in Wlliamstown for a Ranger talk on reading Environmental signs.They used PTV to plan their journey and had to be organised as they had to change trains so timing was important. On Friday these students started their Work Experience at Mambourin Industries. They had an induction about working in a Warehouse and how to be Safe and were shown how to use a shredding machine and how to prepare reusable boxes for future use. Team Work is a key skill and students will develop a variety of skills as the term continues. 

All the students in ASDAN have been using their skills and learning new ones through their Work Experience. 11/12 D have been organising the school lunch orders for their Work Experience - making sure everyone has the delicious lunch that they ordered is an important job!

11/12 E continue using and developing their skills by keeping the gardens in order at Westvale – keep up the good work everyone😊
