Regional Volleyball

The Korumburra Intermediate and Year 8 volleyball teams have done the College proud with outstanding performances at the regional finals in Morwell last Friday. The Year 8 girls earned their place last Wednesday and backed up impressively just two days later, losing only one game for the day and finishing a well‑deserved second. They remained competitive throughout and displayed great resilience.

The Intermediate boys showed tremendous spirit, winning one match and pushing their opponents in two very close contests. Their determination and teamwork were evident in every set. Our Intermediate girls continued their remarkable run, qualifying for the state finals for the second consecutive year. They held their nerve in several tight sets and maintained their strong record through composure and consistency.

All of our players demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, athleticism and reflected our College values while competing against some highly experienced opponents. A big thank you to Susan Lloyd for organising the day, and to Mindy Hams and Georgia Scarce for their coaching and support.
