DIVISION BASKETBALL

On Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th, two Carnegie teams  (1 Boys, 1 Girls)  had the opportunity to compete in the Division basketball tournament. Throughout both days, the two teams played 3 x 30 minute games and if successful, they had the opportunity to compete in the grand final to get into the regional championship. During both days, Carnegie students were able to play against lots of talented teams and cheer on their teammates, all while trying their very best.

The girls team had one draw, and two wins, which unfortunately wasn’t enough to get into the Grand Final, but were all very proud of their efforts.

This team included:

Cora G

Maddie W

Annabel M

Kaylen W

Lulu M

Congratulations to all these girls.

The boys team gave it their best but unfortunately didn’t get to win a game, although they all enjoyed the experience.

This Team Included:

A massive thank you to Ms Freeman and Mr Pollard, who gave up their day to drive out and coach both teams, and also to all parents who came to support their child across the day.

Thank You For Reading!

Being active helps keep us fit and healthy so whether you walk, ride or scoot to school, all or part of the way, it all counts!

At the end of November, your classroom teacher will submit your calendar and the students with the most active entries from each class will go into the draw to win a Rebel Sport Voucher, as well as help our school take out the interschool honors!

Good luck and have fun!
