Choir Visit to Baptcare Lalor

On Friday 24 October our school Choir went to  Lalor Baptcare Retirement Centre. After we all arrived, the building was actually way bigger and friendlier than expected. There were lots of pretty things like a cafe, a garden and lots of sweet pictures there too.

Once we got up to the second floor, there were not a lot of elderly people there yet, but the nice employee made an announcement to tell all the elderly people to make their way up to watch our school Choir sing. The songs we sang were Cover me in Sunshine, This is Me, Riptide, A Million Dreams, Let it Be, Lean on Me and last but not least, and You are my Sunshine. 

All the elderly people were starting to arrive, and little did we know, there were two elderly ladies who actually used to work at the breakfast club with Amanda. All the elderly people were seated and were ready to watch us sing. After each and every song they gave us so much gratitude, appreciation and love for our voices. We were super sad to leave, but we enjoyed our time there and we think they did too.
