Melbourne Writers’ Festival 2025 

On Thursday, 8th of May one Year 9 and 2 Year 10 groups attended the Melbourne Writers’ Festival. All staff and students really enjoyed the day and got to meet some of their favourite writers (and get books signed) such as Robyn Dennison with the topic Blind Spot, Solli Raphael who spoke about Identity and Poetry, Gary Lonesborough whose topic was I’m not really here, and Neal Shusterman whose topic was All better Now. 

Thank you to the supervising teachers- Lachlan Pezet, Lindsey Carruthers, Robin Garden and Lewis Hazelbank, and librarian Chloe Powell. Your students received valuable input for crafting their creative writing.
