Interest: Camping, bush walking, cooking, and relaxing in an onsen (hot spring)

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

I have settled into the new environment and routine pretty well, thanks to the helpful and kind colleagues at Viewbank College. I am looking forward to the Languages Theatre in Term 3 

Dominika Pasztetnik

Role: Science teacher

Interest: Reading, running

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

I feel very fortunate to have completed one of my teaching placements at Viewbank College, as it gave me a wonderful introduction to the College community and how things operate here. That experience made the transition into my new role much smoother. I’m also grateful for the warm welcome and ongoing support from the science team, who have helped me settle in well and feel like a valued member of the College staff.

Joanne Nicola

Role: English Teacher

Interest: Going to galleries and museums

Favourite Colour: Absolutely all shades of green (yes, even the ones that have just enough brown mixed into them to err on being unpleasant)  

How have you settled into the new school and role: 

I have acclimated into the VBC community pretty seamlessly! I have struck gold with the English Domain as a result of their naturally welcoming nature and meticulous attention to detail that ensures all students achieve the best they can and continue reaching for the (academic) stars. My classes are also amazing and have made my transition into the school very enjoyable.
