Our GOLD played Mernda PS away today.
Our boys' tennis team fought hard today and displayed some fantastic skills. They did not get the win; however, they didn't give up and tried their best all the way to the end. The girls' team had a win due to the other school having to call a forfeit.
Next week, all teams have a BYE, so we will have a practice at school during session 2
Just a reminder that our 5/6 swimming program will commence this Tuesday 28th July and will continue every Tuesday until week 8 (Tuesday 1st September). These lessons will take place at King Swim in Mernda.
Below is the timetable for Years 5 and 6.
What to bring: Students are encouraged to wear their bathers under their school uniform. Students can bring goggles. Don't forget to pack a swim bag or plastic bag for your child's wet bathers to go in after swimming (& underwear to put on once you change back into your school uniform)

Swimming will continue this Monday 27th July at Jump Swim School in Whittlesea.

Both these swim schools are indoors, so it will not affect the swimming programs.
On Tuesday 21st July, our AFL 9s boys team went to Waterview Reserve to play against other schools in the Division. All boys did a great job and showed fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship. The team won their first 2 games, advancing to the grand final. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the win; however, they never gave up fighting until the end. What a fantastic effort going through the term and our Division final, only losing one game. We are all very proud of you!!!

Dhulin are still in the lead at the start of Term 3!
Can this continue???
