Principal Class Report
We hope everyone enjoyed a well-earned break filled with fun, family and a chance to recharge.
It has been wonderful to see our students return with smiling faces, exciting holiday stories and a real enthusiasm for learning. There is always something special about the first week back, and the energy across the school has been fantastic.
Term 3 promises to be another busy and rewarding one, with engaging learning, special events and plenty of opportunities to celebrate our students' achievements. Most importantly, we will continue working together to ensure every child feels safe, supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their personal best.
Thank you for your continued support of LPS. Together, we make our school a wonderful place to learn, grow and belong.

Our Year 6 students recently represented LPS at interschool sport, and while they played some fantastic games, it was their outstanding sportsmanship and mateship that truly stood out. They encouraged one another, respected their opponents and officials, and represented our school with pride.
Their positive behaviour did not go unnoticed. The umpires and representatives from three of the schools we competed against took the time to commend our students on their respect, teamwork and sportsmanship.
We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 6 students represented Lyndhurst Primary School both on and off the field.
CCTV update
- All 12 cameras are up and running
- We are exploring an additional camera within the Admin area

Reason(s) for installation of a CCTV system
- To improve site security and deter anti-social behaviour, particularly during evenings, weekends and school holiday periods.
- To protect school assets and infrastructure, particularly in more vulnerable areas.
- To assist in the prevention and investigation of incidents involving vandalism, theft, property damage, trespassing or other inappropriate behaviour.
- To support the school's risk management and emergency response processes by providing factual information when reviewing incidents or safety concerns.
- To enhance the safety and wellbeing of students, staff and visitors by providing greater oversight of key areas across the school grounds.
NCCD Information for Families
Each year, all Australian schools take part in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
The NCCD helps schools and governments better understand the support being provided to students with disability. It uses information schools already hold about the adjustments and support students receive as part of their learning.
The information collected includes a student’s year level, broad category of disability and the level of adjustment provided. No individual student is identified in the data shared with the Australian Government and student privacy and confidentiality are protected.
The NCCD does not involve any testing and will have no direct impact on your child. It helps schools recognise current supports, strengthen inclusive practices and improve learning outcomes for students with disability.
