Child Safeguarding
VOLUNTEERS
St Mary's values the time, generosity and support of our volunteers, and we understand that completing the volunteer process takes time. However, the safety and wellbeing of our children will always be our highest priority!
For this reason, all volunteers, including those assisting with events such as the school production, excursions, or BBQs, must complete the full volunteer process before volunteering. This includes:
- Completion of the CESL Volunteer Induction form (including uploading a current Working with Children's Check)
- Successful completion of the assigned Child Safe module (this only needs to be completed once, not annually)
Referee checks are completed by the school
These requirements help us ensure that every child at St Mary's is surrounded by adults who are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our children safe.
