Stop Work Thursday 23rd July

Dear Families,

The Australian Education Union has called on its members to take strike action this Thursday 23rd July 2026. 

Truganina College will be significantly impacted with many teachers and staff not available onsite on this day. 

Due to industrial action, there will be no secondary classes for secondary students on Thursday 23rd July. 

There are also a large number of primary teachers striking and all primary classes will be impacted. 

Some of our primary classes will be cancelled and parents and carers of these classes have been contacted. These families will have to make alternative arrangements for their children on Thursday as their class will not be operating.

Students who do not attend school on Thursday will not have their attendance record effected. They will be marked as absent due to industrial action. 

PLEASE NOTE: School Canteen will be closed
