Learning About the Month of the Rosary

Over the past few weeks, students have been learning about the Month of the Rosary and

discovering why this special prayer is such an important part of our Catholic faith. They’ve explored how the Rosary helps us reflect on the life of Jesus and the love of Mary in a meaningful way.

Each morning, students within their homegroups have come together to pray the Rosary, taking time to pause, reflect and pray as one. It’s been lovely to see the day started this way!

Both, teachers and students have really enjoyed the creativity of making their own rosaries. It’s been wonderful to see everyone’s enthusiasm and the care they’ve put into their creations and to see these handmade rosaries being used in prayer.

The Rosary is such a beautiful part of our faith tradition and it’s been a joy to see our students and staff embrace it with curiosity, creativity and faith-filled hearts.

World Teachers’ Day Mass

Next Wednesday, all staff members from the schools within St Peter’s Parish will come together to celebrate World Teachers’ Day.

We’re delighted that St Mary of the Cross MacKillop will be hosting this special Mass at 4:00pm in our Sacred Space. This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for us to join as one

parish community and give thanks for the dedication, care and passion our teachers bring to their work each and every day.

We look forward to celebrating together and acknowledging all the amazing things our staff do to make a difference in the lives of their students.
