The school community has been exposed to
- Gastroenteritis and
- Influenza A (The Flu)

Gastro and Influenza are highly contagious. If your child displays any signs and symptoms as outlined by the Royal Children's Hospital Fact Sheets, it would be greatly appreciated that you do not send them to school and update your child’s attendance on Compass.
I would also like to remind parents about the importance of water bottles and school hats. Whilst the school has a “No Hat No Play” policy, the hats are part of a greater strategy to protect your child from sunburn.
Additionally, water bottles will ensure your child stays hydrated throughout the day.
