Traffic Management

The carpark can be a very busy place at times, particularly in the morning and afternoon.  In order to keep everyone safe, we ask that you please observe and follow the directions given by staff.  Staff will often point you to either side of the kiss'n' go area based on their knowledge of families that may be able to drop their child/children off quickly or those that require a little bit of a longer time to embark.

Carpark courtesy is a great learning opportunity for our students to learn from too, moving cars forward to ensure others can move into a space, patiently waiting for other students to pack the boot amongst other moments.  

We have two disability carparks available at St John's, one space can be found close to the sandpit.  Although not the 'universal design' it does have space for a mobility impaired person to access the school.  The other carpark is near the performance centre, it also has the yellow striped area next to it. The striped paint reminds drivers that they are not to park there as the extra space is a requirement for disability parking.  We have parents, visitors and sometimes students who need access to these carparks.  I have included images below so that you can visualise where these spaces are.

We ask that you also be considerate of the neighbours and their driveways especially during peak times when traffic is moving slowly.
