Connecting with Alumni through Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association

The Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association (OIGA)have recently launched their podcast ‘The EGOYAH’. The podcast explores stories and experiences from Ivanhoe Grammar past students/alumni. 

 

Click the image and have a listen alumni sharing their experiences. Elly McInerney

Alumna Elly McInerney, class of 2019, proudly represented Australia in volleyball at the World University Games in Berlin, Germany. Elly previously spent three weeks competing with the Australian UniRoos at the world’s largest multisport event after the Olympics. Congratulations on a magnificent effort Elly! Elly has also completed her studies in the USA and has just started a new position as Social Media producer at the US Open! 

 

Alice Teague-Neeld

Huge congratulations to Alumna Alice Teague-Neeld, who has been selected in the Origin Australian Diamonds 25–26 squad, ahead of October’s South Africa series and the Constellation Cup against the New Zealand Silver Ferns. Alice has been elevated from invitee status following an impressive domestic season with West Coast Fever.

Charlie Opie & Tyson Nagal

Well done to both Charlie Opie and Tyson Nagal, both from the class of 2024, who were selected to play in the VAFA Under 19s team as they played against the Bendigo Football Netball League, being victories. Both boys currently play Seniors for the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club.  Charlie Opie, was also separately selected as the VAFA Under 19s Men’s Captain to lead the team to a huge 89-point win.   

Callum Eddings 

Callum Eddings, from the class of 2019, secured his spot as a punter with the Ottawa Redblacks in the International Draft 2025. Well done, Callum! We look forward to seeing him play. 

Harry Casci

Alumnus Harry Casci, class of 2024, has recently returned from Santiago, Chile, where he played in the International u20s side against Chile. Congratulations!
