Lumen Christi College offers a wide range of VET programs and actively encourages students to step outside their comfort zones and explore these valuable opportunities. Participating in these programs not only builds confidence and skills but also strengthens future applications especially for TAFE’s VET in Schools courses. When applying, students are often asked if they’ve taken part in any school-based VET initiatives, so having this experience can make a real difference. The programs available are:

Expressions of interest fill up quickly as it’s first in first served, so make sure you put your name down to avoid missing out on a place.

Year 12 students are starting to receive early offers, which is a very exciting time. If you haven’t received an offer, there is another round of offers coming out on 22 September.
Congratulations to Ruby Watts (Year 12) for receiving an early offer to study a Bachelor of Screen and Media at ECU in 2026. This is a very competitive course with limited places available. Well done!
