Important: Submitting Equity Scheme Applications

  • Clicking ‘Save and continue’ under each category does not submit the application.
  • Students must click ‘Save/Submit’ at the bottom of the Equity schemes and scholarships page for their application to be lodged.
  • This also triggers statement of support requests to be emailed.
  • If students edit their application, they must click ‘Save/Submit’ again.
  • If not, they’ll see the error: “You have unsubmitted changes. Click Submit on your access and equity application page to confirm.”

 Providing Evidence

  • Some students may receive an email saying documents were rejected or more evidence is required.
  • Students should log in to their VTAC account → go to the ‘Providing evidence’ page.
  • Check ‘Evidence required’ for what to upload.
  • Check ‘Documents rejected’ to see why something was declined.

Checklist Items

  • On the VTAC homepage, all students will see dot points for other selection tasks and upload other documentation
  • These appear for everyone, but only need to be actioned if:
  • Their course lists extra requirements on CourseSearch
  • Otherwise, students can ignore them (they’ll stay grey without a green tick).

Personal Statement

  • If Personal Statement appears in the checklist:
  • Year 12s only need to complete it if it’s listed as a requirement in CourseSearch
  • If not, they can ignore it without affecting their course chances.
