Year 8 News

Our Year 8 students have made a fantastic start to Term 2, showing strong commitment to their learning across all subject areas. Teachers have been impressed with the positive attitude, focus, and determination many students are bringing into the classroom each day. It’s been especially pleasing to see students supporting each other, engaging in class discussions, and taking pride in their work. 

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 8 cohort and can’t wait to see what the rest of the term brings!

Year 8 Camp

We’re also counting down to one of the most anticipated events of the year — the Phillip Island Adventure Camp, taking place from August 11th to 13th. This camp will allow the students to develop leadership skills, build new friendships, challenge themselves in numerous situations, see their peers in a different light and step outside their comfort zone.

The cost of the camp is $465, which is significantly cheaper than previous camps run at Year 8. Payment plans, CSEF and School Saving Bonus can be used to pay for this camp.

This camp offers a chance for students to step outside the classroom, challenge themselves in new ways, and build stronger connections with their peers and teachers. With activities like team challenges, outdoor adventures, and time to explore the beautiful surroundings, it’s set to be an unforgettable experience.
