Start of Year Reminders

As we begin the new school year, we ask families to support our school’s sustainability initiatives by ensuring that students have lunchboxes that are free from cling wrap and disposable wrappers. 

Please ensure your child comes to school wearing a School Hat each day, as you are well aware the temperature not to mention the UV rays have been quite extreme lately. Students are also reminded to bring two boxes of tissues and their art smocks for their Visual Arts lessons. 

School Fees & Levies 

Attached below is the 2026 School fee structure and levy break down. The annual school fee will be $1,955, with a curriculum levy of $475 per child. This levy now includes all stationery items, meaning families will not be required to purchase a separate school book/stationary pack. Further details are outlined in the 2026 Fees and Levies letter shared with families also added below.

School Uniform 

I are pleased to advise that Lowes is the official supplier of the Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School uniform. Families can purchase uniforms directly from the Lowes store located at Broadmeadows Central. Lowes offers a full range of MTC

PS school uniform items to ensure students are correctly and comfortably dressed for school each day.

Our school P&F will hold second hand uniforms sales throughout the school year which will be advertised on our school instagram & Facebook page as well as through the school newsletter. 

Road Safety around MTCPS

As we begin the new school year, we ask all families to prioritise road safety when dropping off and picking up students. Please ensure that you are parking only in designated spots not blocking our neighbours driveways. Safety is our top priority, and by modelling responsible behaviour, we help protect all children, staff and community members. I encourage families to plan their drop-off and pick-up routines to avoid congestion and to be patient with other drivers on the road. Your support in following the road rules ensures a smooth, safe, and positive start and end to each school day for everyone in our school community.
