The Class of 2026 will hold their annual Year 12 End-of-Year Assembly on Monday at 2:30pm at the Mount Beauty Community Centre. The whole school will attend this special tradition as we celebrate our graduating students. Parents, carers and family members of Year 12 students are warmly invited to join us.
On Tuesday the 20th, our Year 12 students will take part in their annual celebration and decorate areas of the school to mark the end of secondary school. Any student who may find the decorations or activity overwhelming are welcome to enter via the Café entrance, which will provide a quieter pathway into the school. Please get in touch if you think your child may become overwhelmed arriving at school on Tuesday morning. We thank our school community for supporting this special milestone for the Class of 2026.
With the warmer weather continuing, students are reminded that a SunSmart hat is required at all times whilst outside. This includes recess, lunch, Sport, PE classes and other outdoor activities. Wearing a hat is an important part of staying safe and protected from UV exposure throughout Term 4.
Recently, Year 6 students from Mount Beauty, Tawonga, Dederang and Falls Creek primary schools visited the college as part of a transition program supporting their move to secondary school in 2027. Led by Hannah Edwards as part of her Year 12 Personal Development Skills (PDS) community project, the session gave students the opportunity to participate in fun sporting activities, ask questions about high school life and connect with current students. As a small and connected community, we are fortunate to be able to provide opportunities like this, helping students build confidence, form relationships and see familiar faces before beginning their secondary school journey. Thank you to the Year 9, 10 and 11 volunteers who helped create such a welcoming and supportive experience for our future Year 7 students.
