Message from Karlie Gooding
Acting Principal
Welcome back to everyone for our final term of the year!
There is so much to look forward to this term. One of the most exciting milestones on the horizon is our long-awaited move into the new, state-of-the-art Specialist Hub building. This is an exciting time for our entire school community, and we look forward to seeing students and staff enjoy these wonderful new learning spaces. Our new play space will also be opening soon, providing additional opportunities and space for students to play and connect.
As we move through the final term, students will continue working towards their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, building on their skills, confidence and independence. It is rewarding to see the progress our students make as they explore their interests, embrace new challenges and develop skills that will support them throughout their lives.
Term 4 is always a busy and exciting time, with many special events and opportunities to look forward to. From celebration days and transition activities - to Senior Camp, Senior Formal and Graduation. There will be plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories and recognise the achievements of our students, particularly our graduating seniors as they prepare for their next chapter.
A reminder to families that Monday 2 November is a Curriculum Day, and this is a student free day. Our staff will be engaging in an Assessment and Report Writing day.
We look forward to a fantastic final term!
