District Swimming

District Swimming- Monash Aquatic Centre

On Thursday 26th February, we had 11 of our students representing GWPS at District Swimming. 

Congratulation to Evin, Nethanya, Amasha, Sineysha, Diyon, Sophia, Riaan, Helitha, Josh, Navya and Ryan for being part of the team, showing great sportsmanship and making us proud! It was a very successful day with several students making it through to Division.

Well done to the following students who made it to the next round:

• Sineysha, 2nd place U11 Freestyle Relay Team
• Helitha, 4th place Individual 50m Backstroke (U12/13)
• Ryan, 1st place Individual 50m Backstroke (U11) and 2nd place U11 Freestyle Relay Team
• Diyon, 3rd place Individual 50m Backstroke (U11) and 2nd place U11 Freestyle Relay Team
• Sophia, 4th place Individual 50m Backstroke and 2nd place U11 Freestyle Relay Team
• Nethanya, 4th place Individual 50m Backstroke (U11) and 2nd place U11 Freestyle Relay Team
