Week 4 Term 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

Fr. Linh has informed us that his last day at St. Fidelis will now be August 13th. He will be heading to Rome for further studies and will return to St. Fidelis for one day in November for a handover with our new Parish Priest.

Fr. Linh will celebrate his final Mass with us as a school community on Friday, August 9th, at 9:15 a.m. This Mass will be an opportunity for us to thank and bid farewell to him.

Please note that there will be no assembly this Friday. However, we would love to have as many parents as possible attend the Mass for this special occasion.

As a token of our appreciation for Fr. Linh's tireless work at St. Fidelis, we would like to give him a donation. If you can contribute, please drop your donation in the box at the front office. The box will be available until Thursday, August 8th. We hope to see many of you at Mass next Friday.

First Eucharist

Last Saturday, the children had their First Holy Communion. The event was beautiful, and the celebration was very reverent and special. Thank you to all the parents for bringing their children and families. A special thanks to Annette, our Religious Education Leader, Fr Greg for saying Mass and all the staff who attended.  I hope all the children had a lovely celebration afterwards.

100 Days at School 

Congratulations to the Foundation students on a wonderful celebration of their 100 days at school! The children participated in numerous numeracy activities centered around the number 100. A big thank you to all the teachers for their extra effort in making this a memorable day for the children and to the parents for the creative dress-up outfits. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated staff and supportive community.

ISN Psychology-Wellbeing

We are also fortunate to re-engage our partnership with ISN (Institute for Social Neuroscience) Psychology. Over the past two years, ISN has provided us with Psychologists to work with our students and their families. This semester, we welcome two new Psychologists, Lachlan and Veronica.

St. Fidelis Trivia Night

We are eagerly looking forward to the Family School Trivia Night!  It promises to be a fun and engaging event for everyone involved. A special thanks to the parents and friends who have worked hard to organize this event - your efforts are greatly appreciated. We can't wait to enjoy a fantastic evening together. Don’t forget to bring as many gold coins as possible to make this event even more exciting!

School Advisory Board 

The School Advisory board will meet this Tuesday Night at 7:00 pm in the STEM space.

SSV Athletics Carnival

We wish all the kids participating in this week's athletics carnival all the best of luck. A huge thanks to Mick for getting the kids ready for this day.
