2026 Maths Cup
On Wednesday 2nd September 2026, nine Year 6 students proudly represented our school at the annual Maths Cup competition, hosted by Amity College.
The competition brought together 40 schools and 93 teams from across NSW, with students challenged to demonstrate their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills, teamwork and ability to think quickly under pressure.
Our students worked in teams of three, tackling a variety of challenging mathematical problems and activities. Their strong performances throughout the competition saw them achieve one of the highest scores, earning their place in the semi-finals alongside 12 top-performing teams.
From there, the competition became even more challenging, with just six teams progressing to the finals. Our students continued to demonstrate determination, collaboration and excellent mathematical thinking, ultimately securing an outstanding third-place finish!
Congratulations to our nine Year 6 students on this fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school and showcased their enthusiasm for mathematics, teamwork and problem-solving.

2026 Sydney South West Primary Athletics Championships
On Wednesday, 16th September, eight students from our school proudly represented the Horsely Zone at the 2026 Sydney South West Primary Athletics Championships. Congratulations to Thomas Barasic, Alex Chung, Osana Eti, Levi Gour, Joyita Lino, Akira Nguyen, Alvis Pen, and Grayson Solaty.
These students, from Stages 2 and 3, travelled to the Campbelltown Athletics Centre and competed in a range of track and field events. We are extremely proud of their dedication and efforts throughout the competition.
We are delighted to announce that two of our students, Levi Gour and Osana Eti, have progressed to the next level and will represent Sydney South West at the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships.
A huge congratulations to Levi and Osana on their outstanding achievements and to all our students for their hard work and sportsmanship on the day.
