MVIMP Combined Concert

Yesterday the MVIMP Combined Concert was held at the Clocktower, with a matinee held during the day and an evening performance.

The students from the four MVIMP schools, Ascot Vale, Ascot Vale West, Moonee Ponds and Moonee Ponds West showcased their musical learnings from 2023.

We were treated to amazing musical performances from students in years 2-6 across all of our instrument groups - Brass, Woodwind, Strings, Bass and Percussion. The concert closed with an entertaining set by the Combined Schools Band, led by Lex Tier.

Our congratulations to all the wonderful MPW students who participate in the Moonee Vale Instrumental Music Program (MVIMP) and to our talented MVIMP music tutors Anthony, Caitlin, Janet, Les, Terri, Simon, and Lex, thank you for teaching and inspiring our students.

Also congratulation go to Cooper S, who was the recipient of the MVIMP Achievement Award for Moonee Ponds West PS.
